Bleach Dye

Course Title: DIY Bleach Dye
Instructor: Christian Leon Guerrero
Duration: 1 Week | Meets on Saturday from 11AM-4PM.
Seats: 5

The upcoming session September 7th.

This one day workshop will explore experimental painting techniques using bleach. Bleach painting is a unique and affordable way to create one-of-a-kind pieces of art to wear, gift, and sell.

Students will learn how to use bleach to draw and paint on fabric and garments, experiment with different techniques, and learn proper safety methods. Students of all skill levels are welcome.

The first part of the workshop covers safety methods, colorfastness, and demonstrate techniques. Students will then have time to work on their designs for the rest of the workshop. We will provide 1 Black Gildan Heavy Weight Cotton Shirts and 1 Tote Bag. We welcome students to bring their own garments or fabrics to paint on, as well as sketches and designs they's like to use for the late half of the session.

This workshop emphasizes play, experimentation, and craft. We encourage students to use these techniques to continue experimenting at home after the duration of the workshop and add their own flair.

1 Tote Bag
