Through hands-on demonstrations and guided practice, the class will cover essential tools, carving methods, inking techniques, and printing by hand and press. Emphasis will be placed on line, texture, and composition, as well as safe studio practices and material handling.

Open to beginners and those with some printmaking experience, this course provides a supportive environment for experimentation and personal expression. By the end of the class, students will produce a series of original prints and gain the fundamental skills that make up relief printmaking.
